Seagate Development Group recently broke ground on Resurgence Brewing Company & Central Rock Gym. This 45,000 facility is now under construction on the corner of Michael G. Rippe and Six Mile Cypress parkways.

Buffalo, New York-based Resurgence Brewing Company is getting ready to open another location right here in South Fort Myers. This location, however, will look a lot different from their New York Taproom. For this project, Resurgence Brewing Company has teamed up with Central Rock Gym to bring SWFL a one-of-a-kind experience. This new 25,000-square-foot facility will feature a brewery, full bar, outdoor beer garden, restaurant, and a rock-climbing facility.

Resurgence Brewing Company

Resurgence Brewing Company recently celebrated their tenth anniversary in Buffalo, NY where it is loved by locals. Before opening their taproom, the husband and wife team behind Resurgance began their journey breing beers in their kitchen. Their Buffalo Brewery now brews over 5,000 gallons of beer a week, including staples like their flagship IPA and rotating experimental brews. They also offer a variety of pub-style handhelds and sharables, which they plan to offer at their new Fort Myer location as well.

Central Rock Gym

Central Rock Gym currently has 28 locations across America, including a few in Florida. The Fort Myers Location will, however, be the largest in the state with over 20,000 square feet of climbing walls. The facility will offer 45-foot-tall walls for lead and top rope climbing, 5,000 square feet of bouldering, a kilter board, yoga classes, and more! The gym will rotate routes of indoor climbing weekly for all levels to keep it challenging.

Construction of this facility has officially begun at 6090 Exchange Lane in Fort Myers. Resurgence Brewing Company & Central Rock Gym are currently shooting for a Summer 2025 opening date.
