The Cape Coral City Council has approved Resolution 59-24, and awarded the construction bid for Festival Park to Burke Construction Group. Festival Park will feature an amphitheater, soccer fields, a fitness center, walking trails, a recreational lake, and more!

City officials hope the project will increase travel to Northwest Cape Coral. Home construction in North West Cape Coral has picked up significantly in the past few years and locals are excited to finally see some amenities popping up in the neighborhood. This park will be a much-needed venue for festivals, live music, and other community events.

Burke Construction Group plans to break ground on Festival Park at the end of March. Construction is estimated to take about 16 months, giving way to a Summer 2025 opening date.
