On Tuesday night during a nail-biting ECHL final game, Florida Everblades captain John McCarron netted the tie-breaking goal in double overtime. The 3-2 victory over the Newfoundland Growlers has propelled the Blades into the Kelly Cup Finals. The Everblades will be defending their Kelly Cup Championship Title against the Idaho Steelheads. This will be the Everblades’ sixth time making it to the Kelly Cup Finals, tied with South Carolina for the most-ever Finals appearances.
