Riptide Brewing Company has added something new to its Bonita Springs taproom: a full kitchen.
The locally owned brewery officially launched its new in-house food program in late September, expanding Riptide from a spot known primarily for craft beer, events and visiting food trucks into a place where guests can now grab a full meal alongside their favorite pour.
According to the brewery, the menu is still in its early stages and will continue to grow as the team settles into the new venture.
What’s on the Menu at Riptide?
The new menu is built around casual, beer-friendly food, but Riptide is putting its own spin on the typical brewery lineup.
Guests can expect everything from shareable appetizers to wings, smash burgers and hot dogs. The kitchen is also making several components in-house, including brined wings, hand-pressed crab cakes and house beer cheddar.
The idea is simple: food that pairs well with the beers already being brewed and poured on-site.
Guests order food directly at the bar before grabbing a seat inside the spacious taproom or outside on the patio. The kitchen then brings the order to the table.
On certain busy event nights, Riptide says it may switch to a pager system for food pickup.
More Than Just Beer in Bonita Springs
The addition is another step in Riptide’s evolution into a full entertainment and gathering spot in Bonita Springs.
The family-owned brewery regularly hosts community events, live entertainment, fundraisers, pinball tournaments and other special events in addition to its rotating selection of locally brewed beers.
Riptide also describes itself as family-friendly, making the addition of a permanent food menu especially convenient for families who want to stay for more than a quick beer.
The brewery has continued to experiment with creative releases as well. Recent beers have included everything from a PB&J-inspired fruited sour to its Swamp Hymn Heart of Palm Lager, created in partnership with the Florida State Parks Foundation.
Now, visitors no longer have to wait for a food truck to be on-site to turn a brewery visit into dinner.

Current taproom hours are:
Monday – Wednesday: 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Thursday: 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Friday – Saturday: Noon – 10 p.m.
Sunday: Noon – 8 p.m.
Food orders are available until one hour before the taproom closes.
The new kitchen is now open, and Riptide says the food program will continue to develop as the team expands the menu.
