This is the year of food trucks for Lee County! Backyard Social opened at the end of 2023 and Rooftop at Riverside opened early this year. Both have been a hit with the local community and visitors alike. Now, it’s time for Downtown Fort Myers to get in on the food truck fun!
Bay Street Yard is an exciting new outdoor experience in the heart of Downtown Fort Myers. The venue will feature a food truck alley, a stage with an 8X13 ft. jumbotron, two bars, a variety of seating options, and plenty of open space for dancing and games. In between food and drinks, visitors can listen to music, catch a game on the jumbotron and play cornhole, ping pong, or bocce!
Bay Street Yard features an urban-chic atmosphere, combining an industrial feel with vibrant colors and lush greenery. The structures on site were made from repurposed shipping containers, adding an industrial and sustainable element. Meanwhile, Urban-style murals pay an ode to the beautiful downtown of Fort Myers.
The venue will offer craft beers, artisanal beverages, and the area’s top-notch food trucks. The food trucks are expected to be announced soon as we approach their opening on May 30th!
