Plans for a Fort Myers food truck park have been unanimously approved by the city’s Board of Adjusters.
Bruno’s Brooklyn Bites Food Truck Park will be situated at 2300 McGregor Blvd, just north of the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. The owners of the project, Cal and Genevieve Bruno, also own Bruno’s of Brooklyn on Second Street in downtown Fort Myers.
The site plans show spaces for seven food trucks, two of which will be operated by the park owners, Cal and Genevieve. They will also be building a bar with seating for as many as forty people. There is currently a historic 1920s building occupying a portion of the land, which won’t be going anywhere. The owners want to match the aesthetics of this building to maintain the historic vibe.
According to Cal and Genevieve Bruno, construction is slated to begin immediately. They expect the park to be open sometime in 2024.
