Florida Everblades Win The Kelly Cup!

Last Saturday, the Florida Everblades defeated the Toledo Walleye to take the coveted Kelly Cup for the second time in team history.

The big win came in game 5 of the Kelly Cup Final, after frying the Walleye in 3 of the other 4 games. This was their fifth appearance in the Kelly Cup Final, and second ever win. Their other Kelly Cup win was in 2012 versus the Las Vegas Wranglers.

After the game, Everblades goaltender Cam Johnson won the June M. Kelly Playoffs Most Valuable Player Award. Johnson went 15-3 during these Kelly Cup Playoffs, with 4 shutouts, which is tied for the second most in postseason ECHL history.
