The Southwest Florida housing market continues to sizzle as the median sale price across the region reaches a 10-year high. 

The median sale price for the month of August was $334,950– a staggering increase of over 17% from this time last year, and over 26% higher than the August of 2015 median. 

Low interest rates and inventory levels are the driving forces in this trend, creating an ideal market for both buyers and sellers. 

Here’s a breakdown of August’s median sale prices by city and property type:

Bonita Springs:

  • Single Family: $442,500
  • Condo/Town Home: $275,000

Naples: 

  • Single Family: $475,000
  • Condo/Town Home: $288,000

Estero: 

  • Single Family: $425,000
  • Condo/Town Home: $267,000

Fort Myers:

  • Single Family: $325,000
  • Condo/Town Home: $186,000

Fort Myers Beach:

  • Single Family: $552,500
  • Condo/Town Home: $431,000

Cape Coral:

  • Single Family: $286,250
  • Condo/Town Home: $174,500
