On Wednesday, September 25th, the Village of Estero Council approved a 400-acre project. The new community, consisting of 590 single family homes, will be constructed on Corkscrew Road, East of I-75.
According to the builder, Argo Land Development, 55% of the land will be designated preserve. Only about 175 of the 400 acres will be built upon.
Corkscrew Crossings will be the first new community on East Corkscrew Road since Estero’s incorporation in 2014.
Currently, no start or completion date has been set by the developer. At some point, they’ll have to appear before the Estero Design Review Board to have the architecture and landscaping approved. From there, they will be able to obtain a development order and construction can begin.
