An affordable Habitat for Humanity community will soon break-ground in East Naples.
The 17 acre lot is currently being cleared at the Southeast corner of Market Street and Davis Boulevard in East Naples. Once completed, Vincent’s Acres will consist of 79 single family homes.
Vincent’s Acres will be the first Collier Habitat community with a 2-story home design. The neighborhood will be centered around a large common area with basketball, a playground and picnic area.
To apply for a home in a Habitat for Humanity community, buyers must put in 500 or more hours in helping build the homes. The homes are then sold at builder-cost and buyers receive an interest-free mortgage.
Vincent’s Acres is named after Vincent A. Stabile, a philanthropist and retired engineer, who died in his Naples home in 2002.
