Two New Restaurants May Replace BB&T Building in Downtown Bonita Springs

  • Reading time:2 mins read

Two new Bonita Springs restaurants are in the works! The 2.5-acre parcel where BB&T bank once operated sold for $2,050,000 back in October. Now, a renovation has begun to transform the building. Developers are hoping to turn the old bank into two restaurant spots along Old 41 Rd. Project managers are currently seeking “Seeking daytime and late-night restaurants of the highest caliber” to lease the property.

The first restaurant would be 3,500 square feet indoors with 12 ft high ceilings and use up to 4,500 square feet of outdoor dining space. Hoveland Real Estate, who currently has the property listed for lease, described this potential restaurant space as a “South Beach-styled indoor and outdoor dining environment” that would ideally be a “late-night liquor restaurant.”

The restaurant next door would be 1,633 square feet, also with 12 ft ceilings. It is currently being marketed as a daytime cafe or restaurant with “lots of structured patio and garden dining.”

We will continue to monitor this project and provide updates as leases are signed and we find out what new businesses are coming to our neighborhood!
