The maiden 2018-2019 school year is officially in session at Bonita Springs High School. BSHS is not only the newest in the area, but also one of the most innovative, from safety to academics.
Some of the academies offered at Bonita Springs High School include:
- Aerospace
- Medical
- HVAC Air Conditioning
Building designers have incorporated safety systems into the school that will help counter the risk of active shooters and other emergency situations. These include:
- Only one access point for cars
- One entrance that will only open when a staff member buzzes visitors through
- Monitored surveillance cameras
- Higher than average windows
