Some restaurants make an impression with the food. C Level makes one before you even open the menu.
The Ambiance
My sister-in-law and I finally visited C Level in Bonita Springs for the first time, and stepping inside felt like leaving the everyday behind and settling into an elegant underwater hideaway. The room is washed in deep blue light, with nautical details that feel polished rather than kitschy. Fish drift across screen “windows,” while the rippling blue walls and glowing glassware add to the feeling that you’re dining beneath the surface. It’s dramatic and immersive, but still intimate enough to catch up over dinner.
The Story
C Level has been part of Bonita Springs for about 15 years. It began as a wine bar with a small snack menu and gradually grew into a dinner destination. The space expanded over time, too, eventually adding a separate dining room. The concept has evolved, but that deep-blue, under-the-sea character remains a signature part of the experience.

What We Tried
We started with cocktails: I ordered the Paper Plane, and my sister-in-law chose the Forbidden Sprits. Both were excellent. For appetizers, she went with their famous French onion soup, served with mini scissors to cut the cheese, while I tried the black grouper ceviche. The ceviche surprised me with thinly sliced green apple and small bites of grape, but they added a great crunch and a little sweetness to the mix.

For dinner, I ordered the filet mignon with vegetables and mashed potatoes. It was cooked perfectly, and the sides made for a satisfying classic steakhouse-style plate. My sister-in-law had the pork chop with vegetables and potatoes, and she enjoyed every bite.

We finished by sharing two cakes: lemon and chocolate ganache. The lemon cake was a lovely finish, while the chocolate ganache cake was every bit as decadent as it sounds.

An Intimate Spot for Any Occasion
C Level is a memorable choice when you want dinner to feel like an occasion, whether you’re planning a date night or a long catch-up with someone you love. It had been on my list for years, and I’m glad my first visit was with my sister-in-law.
