The Bonita Springs Poker Room opened this past week in front of the former Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track. The track held its last race on May 3rd, after 62 years. The closing was scheduled long before the pandemic. In 2018, Florida passed an amendment that outlawed Greyhound Racing across the state, beginning January 1st, 2021.

The Gameroom

The new Bonita Springs Poker Room has taken the place of the former track with a fresh, modern twist. The 33,000 square foot building offers live poker, virtual horse racing, and Jai-Alai. The new state-of-the-art rooms feature stations with personal TVs and giant LED screens to keep up with all of the action in real-time.  The new game room also plays all of your favorite sports games and holds promotions to bet on your favorite team for a chance to win big.

Food and Drinks

The Brass Tap has launched it’s latest SWFL location inside the new Bonita Springs Poker Room. This bar is a beer lover’s dream with over 150+ different craft beers, including a rotating selection of seasonal options and limited releases.  If beer isn’t your thing, you can sip on a glass of wine or enjoy a handcrafted cocktail. Though this brewhouse is known for its expansive beer selection, it is no just a brewhouse! The Brass Tap also offers a diverse menu that features classic bar food, salads, wraps, burgers, and tacos!
