The SWFL Home Group has teamed up with Rooftop at Riverside and a local charity to help collect donations to deliver to Texas flooding victims.
As Southwest Floridians, we all know how devastating flooding can be. The Guadalupe River in Texas rose over 25 feet in 1 hour, in the middle of the night. Homes, property, and sadly lives, were taken in an instant.
We’ve seen firsthand how well our Southwest Florida community comes together to help in desperate times. This time, we’re doing it for TEXAS!
We Need Your Help!
Bonita Storage Inn has offered to donate as many boxes as we can fill. Simply bring your donations to Rooftop at Riverside, find the box, and drop off anything you can.ย
Here is a list of items needed urgently in Kerr County, Texas and the surrounding areas. Please be sure to launder any bedding and neatly package it before drop-off. Snacks and shelf-stable foods should also be neatly packed and not expired. Thank you!

- Hygiene and self-care products
- First-aid kits
- Feminine products
- Batteries
- Battery-powered fans
- Laundry detergent
- Diapers and wipes
- Baby essentials
- Small toys
- Breast milk (we’re also looking for a deep freezer for the journey to Texas)
- Formula
- Toiletries
- Paper products
- Clean and packages bedding
- Unexpired snacks and protein bars
