Beach days at Barefoot Beach just got even better! Barefoot Oasis, a brand-new beach café, bar and concession stand, officially opened on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Barefoot Beach Preserve.
The new concession brings food, drinks, ice cream and beach-day essentials directly to one of Southwest Florida’s most beautiful beaches. It also offers seating and some much-needed shade, giving visitors a comfortable place to cool off, enjoy lunch or relax with a cold drink without having to leave the preserve.
A New Beach Café and Bar at Barefoot Beach
Barefoot Oasis is more than the basic snack stand you might expect to find at a county beach. Its menu includes shareable appetizers, salads, sandwiches, classic beach food, specialty cocktails, frozen drinks, beer, wine and liquor.
That means visitors can now turn a quick trip to Barefoot Beach into a full day by the Gulf without packing every meal and refreshment ahead of time. Families can stop for lunch or ice cream, while adults can choose from the café’s selection of tropical drinks and cocktails.
The shaded seating is also a welcome addition, especially during Southwest Florida’s hottest months. It gives beachgoers a convenient place to take a break from the sun while still enjoying the peaceful, tropical setting of Barefoot Beach.
What’s on the Barefoot Oasis Menu?
The Barefoot Oasis food menu includes a mix of beach-friendly favorites and fresh options. Current menu items and posted prices include:
Shareables and Snacks
- Southwest Nachos — $14: Tortilla chips piled high with queso, a black bean and corn blend, pico de gallo, olives, jalapeños and sour cream. Guacamole and chili can be added for an additional charge.
- Sunset Quesadilla — $12: Made with pico de gallo, sour cream and a house cheese blend and served with chips. Guests can also add guacamole or chicken.
- Chicken Tenders — $15: Served with honey mustard and chips.
Island Fresh Greens
- Cobb Salad — $12
- Berry Breeze Salad — $14: Mixed greens with seasonal berries, nuts, goat cheese and apple vinaigrette.
The salad menu offers several dressing choices and the option to add tuna salad, traditional chicken salad or curry chicken salad.
Sandwiches and Handhelds
All sandwiches and handhelds are served with a choice of chips or a side salad.
- Cuban Sandwich — $15: Ham, pork, yellow mustard, pickle chips and mayonnaise on fresh bread.
- Beachside Turkey Sandwich — $14: Sliced turkey with crisp lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and mayonnaise on fresh bread.
- Toasted Beach Grilled Cheese — $12: A three-cheese combination on multigrain bread with tomato and bacon.
- Classic Hot Dog — $10: An all-beef hot dog served on a soft bun.
The menu also includes deli-style tuna salad, traditional chicken salad and curry chicken salad options. Gluten-free bread is available by request.
Tropical Cocktails and Frozen Drinks
Barefoot Oasis also has a full drink menu featuring specialty cocktails, frozen drinks, canned cocktails, beer, wine and liquor.
Specialty cocktails include a Patrón Skinny Margarita, Don Julio Blanco Paloma, Captain Morgan Mojito, Oasis Sunset Spritz, Jim’s Polish Eagle and Tito’s Transfusion, priced at $14 each on the opening menu.
Frozen options include a Piña Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, Miami Vice and Skinny Margarita, priced at $16 each. There is also a 32-ounce Malibu Pink Paradise Bucket for $22, made with Malibu Pink, pineapple juice, cranberry juice and a splash of lemon-lime juice.
Visitors looking for something simpler can choose from canned beer, canned cocktails, wine and a selection of spirits. Barefoot Oasis has also advertised ice cream and other beach-day essentials, making it easy to grab a cold treat or pick up something you may have forgotten at home.
Another Step Forward for Barefoot Beach
The opening feels especially meaningful after the long recovery of Barefoot Beach Preserve following Hurricane Ian. When the preserve reopened after 14 months of repairs, Parking Lot 1, the restrooms, snack bar, boardwalks and nature trail were still closed. The arrival of Barefoot Oasis marks another welcome step in bringing amenities back to this beloved local beach.
Barefoot Beach Preserve remains one of the last undeveloped barrier islands on Florida’s Southwest coast. The 342-acre preserve is known for its natural shoreline, Gulf views, sea turtles, shorebirds and protected gopher tortoises. Barefoot Oasis adds convenience and comfort while allowing visitors to continue enjoying the natural beauty that makes the preserve so special.
Visiting Barefoot Oasis at Barefoot Beach
Barefoot Oasis is located near Parking Lot 1 inside Barefoot Beach Preserve at 505 Barefoot Beach Boulevard, Bonita Springs, Florida 34134.
Barefoot Beach Preserve is open year-round from 8 a.m. until sunset, and parking is currently $10 per vehicle for visitors without a Collier County resident beach parking permit. Because concession hours and menu availability may change, visitors should check Barefoot Oasis on Instagram before making a special trip.
