Estia Group restaurant company has officially launched it’s first Florida restaurant, opening Estia Naples this week.
Estia Group restaurant company was formerly exclusive to the Northeast, where it includes three other Estia restaurants, two Pietroโs pizzerias, and an Almyra modern Greek restaurant. After co-owner Gus Pashalis and his family relocated to sunny Naples, Florida, they set their sights on opening their first Florida location. After two years of surprises and hurdles, they did just that.
Estia Naples opened this week in the Galleria at Vanderbilt Plaza, taking the place of the 10,500-square-foot Bokamper’s outparcel. The building was completely gutted and beautifully remodeled.ย The white-washed, open, airy feel transports guests to the coast of Greece before they even take a seat.
Gus worked closely with an interior designer who designs homes in Greece to ensure the feel was authentic, incorporating exotic stone and urns from Greece. In addition to the traditional indoor seating, the restaurant also features a full bar, a 320-seat outdoor patio space and a private dining room.
The menu at Estia Naples showcases authentic Greek cuisine, inspired by his mother’s home cooking. Gus is a first-generation American, the child of parents who immigrated from Greece to New York. The fresh-forward menu features traditional Greek favorites like spanakopita, avgolemono & mussaka amongst other creative, Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant’s northern location has become known for its whole fish, which is sourced from independent fishermen in the Mediterranean.
Estia Naples is currently open for dinner only, opening at 3 PM and closing at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
