Estero Sports Complex’s final master plan was revealed at a recent council meeting. The project has been in the works for over a year, but quick progress is being made. The original site plan included two separate, franchised entertainment complexes, Chicken N’ Pickle & High 5. Last year, the Village decided to move forward with a single partnership with High 5. Since then, the project has evolved into a much larger sport’s complex with a wide variety of amenities and greenspace.
The original site plan for the Estero Sports Complex was laid out on the parcel of land where the old driving range once operated. The new plan now includes plans for the eastern adjoining parcel that is owned by the county and the property that the Village of Estero recently leased from Estero Highschool.
The Estero Sports Complex’s final master plan will create a multi-purpose complex that will encompass High 5, a new driving range with two stories of bays, multiple sports fields, a “high-quality” playground, a splash pad, and upgraded sports facilities to be shared with the high school.
