The Pickleball Club was set to open two new locations in Bonita Springs and Fort Myers. The company had two indoor pickleball clubs operating in Sarasota and Port Saint Lucie, with eight other clubs under construction and in development across Florida. The operating clubs abruptly closed with just 24 hours’ notice.

The Pickleball Club posted the following statement on LinkedIn:

“It is with great sadness that we must announce that we have closed the Company. We did not have sufficient financial resources to continue operations. We have started the process of liquidating the company assets, including our two club location in Lakewood Ranch and Port St. Lucie Florida. We have several other locations that are fully permitted and ready for development, interested parties should emailย matt.gordon@thepickleballclub.com.”

The Bonita Springs club had plans to begin construction near Bonita Charter. The Fort Myers location was proposed near the intersection of Alico Road and US 41. Both properties are still owned by TPC and have not been listed publicly for sale.
