Backyard Social officially open! The food truck park held its grand opening on October 19th. This new venue is located at 16371 Corporate Commerce Way, at the intersection of Alico Road and Benn Hill Griffin Parkway.
With room for eight food trucks, Backyard Social also features a beautiful, 9,000-square-foot building that is full of fun. An expansive bar with TVs sprawls along the center, surrounded by tons of seating. Guests can relax at the bar or try their hand at darts, shuffleboard, duckpin bowling, or cornhole while they enjoy food and libations.
Garage doors create a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Outside, nine food trucks provide guests with a huge selection of food options and a stage makes for live music. Owner John Mann says that they have room for hundreds of guests and are planning to have some big shows.

Been waiting on this and very excited SWFl finally has a fun….spot to visit. We’re not old but not having this type of venue certainly has been a real drag. Am I showing my age? Thank you. C u Friday!
