Brightwater is a brand new community currently being built in North Fort Myers. Model homes are currently open, but still underway is the community’s main attraction: Brightwater Lagoon.
The Lagoon
Brightwater Lagoon is a six-acre, crystal-clear lagoon that will be open to the public. This new, state-of-the-art amenity will feature a swim-up bar, floating obstacle course, kayaks, paddleboards, lounge chairs, a sandy island, and even some floating cabanas! The lagoon is currently under construction and will open later this year.
Crystal Lagoons are the masterminds behind this exciting new addition to North Fort Myers. You may be familiar with their other project, The Lagoon at Epperson in Wesley Chappel. The Lagoon at Epperson was the first of its kind to open in the United States and has gained a lot of attention through social media. Since then, they have opened their second location at Southshore Bay near Tampa. This means that Brightwater will be the third Crystal Lagoon project in all of North America!
The Neighborhood
The community of Brightwater will feature single-family homes by D.R. Horton starting in the $400s. Phase one of released homes has recently sold out. Luckily, the builder plans to release details about phase two soon!

Though the most notable amenity is Brightwater Lagoon, the community will also have a dog park, a shaded “Tot Lot” for the little ones, plenty of green space for events, and miles of trails for biking, walking!
We will be sure to keep you up to date as new details about phase two and the lagoon opening emerge!
