Money.com recently released their list of The 8 Best Places to Retire in America, and unsurprisingly, the small town of Bonita Springs made the list! Money curated the list based on a series of factors, beginning with crime risk, average household income, and ethnic diversity. They narrowed the list by factoring in economic health, cost of living, health care, safety, diversity, quality of life, amenities and the percentage of residents over 50. They were left with the following list of the top 8 places to live in America.

- West Bloomfield, Michigan
- Northfield Township, Illinois
- Bonita Springs, Florida
- Minnetonka City, Minnesota
- Georgetown City, Texas
- Clarkstown, New York
Money referred to Bonita Springs as the perfect place to retire “if you like sunshine and volunteer opportunities.” The magazine highlighted some of the town’s most beautiful places to visit, like the Downtown area and Lover’s Key State Park. It also mentioned the town’s community events like local farmer’s markets, various festivals, and concerts throughout the year.
