Alloy Bonita Springs recently opened in the plaza at the corner of Old 41 and US 41, just a few doors down from Lansdowne Street! This personal training center is full of brand-new, state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Alloy offers small group treining sessions all day long with a variety of time slots to accommodate any schedule and fitness level. Brianna got a chance to try it out for herself, and here is what she thought!

I have weight-trained pretty consistently for over a decade. I typically work out alone, with my headphones turned all the way up! I have never tried group training, but when Alloy invited me to come check it out, I was excited to try something new.

I arrived at Alloy Bonita Springs and immediately noticed all of the brand-new equipment! It is a gym-rat playground! They have a variety of dumbells, kettlebells, cable machines, TRX straps, and even a super-cool sled to pull!

Our group was small, consisting of just myself and three other women of all ages. We started with a brief warm-up which consisted of stretching and some foam-rolling to loosen up our muscles. After that, it was time to get to work. We had two coaches, Coah G & Coach Ken, that lead us though the circuit they created for us. We had four different stations that we cycled through.

Even though we outnumbered our coaches, they made sure to keep an eye on all of us at all times. At each station, one of the coaches would make sure our form was correct and push us to keep upping our weight. Even though I have been working out for so long, the coaches still gave me tips to correct my form. I also did not realize how much I needed the push to up my weight! It is easy to get complacent when you work out alone, but there is no such thing as complacency when Coach G and Coach Ken are around!

We spent the session getting in a great workout, listening to some fun music and laughing together. I think the highlight of the session had to be when we turned the gym into a cat walk with our kettlebell walks and competed to see who could serve the most sass with a pose at the end.

Time flies when you are having fun and our 45-minute sessions seemed to come and go so quickly!

Why Small Group Personal Training?

Small group personal training is a really fun way to get some personalized training but with two extra benefits: a sense of community and a more affordable price. You’ll have fun working out with your group, sharing the struggle while motivating each other to keep going. Plus, Alloy Bonita Springs is far more affordable than a typical personal trainer since the trainers are able to divide their time between a few clients at once.

Small Group Training is great for all ages and fitness levels because it is so customizable. Everyone in my group did the same workout, but we each did it at different levels. One thing is for sure- we all felt the burn! Each session not only burns fat & builds muscle but also provides you with the knowledge you need to take your workouts outside of the facility. This aspect makes it a perfect way to start weight training for anyone who lacks the knowledge and confidence to do so! As you learn new workouts, you’ll gain the confidence to supplement your sessions with some regular gym time if you choose.

We are excited to welcome another business to the area that will improve the health of our community. For more information, or to try your first session. Contact Alloy Bonita Springs!
