The Causeway abruptly closed over Memorial Day weekend as a result of a disagreement between business partners. The Smiths, who own the food concepts, menus, and kitchen equipment were asked to leave by their partners, and they took everything with them.

The Smiths are currently looking for a new building to house their food concepts while the partners who own the bar and beer wall are looking for a new restaurant concept to reopen the location.
