Construction recently began on Cape Coral’s first food truck park! Slipaway Food Truck Park and Marina will be situated at the foot of the Cape Coral Bridge, with easy access by car or boat.

Conceived by a group of local investors, the new food truck park will be anchored by a large, 154-seat central bar. The remainder of the 3.1-acre lot will be occupied by 10 food trucks, 6 shaded pavilions with an additional 144 seats, 1,370 feet of paths and boardwalk, and 120 parking spaces. With 30 boat slips, the marina will have no shortage of dockage. Construction costs are estimated to be around $20 million.

The owners will soon begin interviewing food trucks to occupy the 10 spaces. They are looking for the best of the best, with delicious food and great service.
